A preliminary for the 2012 International Mr. Leather Contest
Information:
When: January 13 & 14, 2012
Where: 501 Eagle
The objective of this contest is to find a Leatherman to best represent the 501 Eagle for the next year within the community and at International Mr. Leather.
Rules and Expectations:

The winner of the Mr. 501 Eagle will be a representative for the 501 Eagle, and as such should expect to attend some events at the 501 Eagle, though no minimum requirements exist.
If the winner plans to compete in the International Mr. Leather Contest in 2012, he will have to take on the financial responsibilities of the contest (hotel room, food), however, the 501 Eagle will give ample time and help with fundraisers toward the cost of the contest.
The sash presented to the winner will be a “passed down” sash, therefore, it is the property of the 501 Eagle, and upon the end of the title year, or resignation must be returned to the 501 Eagle.
The owners of the 501 Eagle reserve the right to remove the winner’s title if the winner is not representing the bar in a favorable fashion.
To win the title of Mr. 501 Eagle, the contestant must attend and compete in all parts of the contest.
All contestants must be at least 21 years of age.

All contestants must understand their pictures shall be used on the 501 Eagle website and possibly sent for publication nationally in such places as the Leather Journal, International Mr. Leather website, etc.
REQUIRED CONTEST EVENTS:
- FRIDAY
- MEET & GREET – 501 Eagle 10:30 – midnight
- SATURDAY
- A) Interview – 12:30 pm
This is an up to 10 minute interview with the 5 judges asking questions of the contestant to get to know his personality and ability to represent the 501 Eagle.
All interviews are private and only the judges, contestant and contestant handler shall be present during the interview. 50% of the score. - B) On stage introduction – formal gear encouraged.
This is the judges and audiences first impression on stage. 20% of the score. - C) Physique/Jock wear – Onstage question.
Contestants shall “strut” their stuff on stage to show comfort in front of a crowd and answer an on stage question written by the judges or emcee. These should be expected to be of a fun nature. 30% of the score. - D) Announcement of winner –
Attire you would want in any published photos for both the 501 Eagle website and for national publication.
